About the Internship:
Key responsibilities:
1. Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
2 Preparing financial statements
3. Assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas
4. Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement, and changes in financial position/budget variance analyses
5. Assisting in the design and preparation of budgets for review by management
6. Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules
7. Supervising accounting staff
Who can apply:
1. Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP
2. Strong financial analysis skills
3. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
4. Strong organizational and stress management skills
5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel
6. Ability to train and manage staff
7. Ability to work with little to no supervision
