Job Description Mail:- accountant manages, analyzes, and reports on a company's financial data by recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations. Key duties include preparing financial reports, performing audits, managing budgets, and providing financial advice to help management make informed decisions. Core responsibilities Financial record-keeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including general ledgers and transactions. Financial reporting: Prepare key financial statements like balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Analysis and compliance: Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, ensuring all financial activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting principles. Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in creating and managing budgets and forecasts to support financial planning and efficiency. Tax preparation: Handle tax-related duties, including preparing and filing tax returns, and advising on strategies to minimize tax liabilities. Additional duties Audits and reconciliations: Perform internal audits and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Payroll and payments: Oversee payroll functions and process payments. Strategic guidance: Advise management on financial strategy, cost reduction, and ways to improve profitability and achieve long-term goals. System implementation: May be involved in creating and implementing new accounting systems or procedures. Essential skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency with accounting and financial software Expert-level knowledge of spreadsheets and other software Attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication skills to explain complex financial information Requirements Work experience as an Accountant. Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks. Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables.
