Responsibilities
As an Accounting Manager, you will be tasked with a wide range of responsibilities that will require both your technical and managerial skills
Overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department including monthly financial reports, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, and tax compliance
Assisting with the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, analyzing financial data and reporting on financial performance
Ensuring compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements and professional standards
Establishing and maintaining financial policies, procedures, and internal controls
Managing and mentoring a team of accounting staff, fostering a supportive and collaborative environment
Collaborating with other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives
Evaluating and implementing improvements to accounting systems and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness
