Description
Qualifications
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related degree, from a credible college or university is required
Must be highly skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data
Must be highly skilled in the use of Excel Spreadsheets and Microsoft Word
Strong oral and written communication skills; must be comfortable writing in order to handle the occasional administrative needs of the department
Must have excellent work habits, including a willingness to work the hours necessary to get the job done

Responsibilities
Main responsibilities will include support of the Controller and the CFO
Carrying out responsibilities to support the Controller and Chief Financial Officer of the Accounting Department
Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards
Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology
General ledger account reconciliation and prepare journal entries
Financial statement preparation and upload to partners systems
Reconciliation of sub ledgers to general ledger accounts, including inventory
Credit Card reconciliation
Supervise accounting clerk whose duties include posting daily cash reports, creating deposits, and other daily posting tasks
Review and manage control accounts
