Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
At least 2 years of manufacturing experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to interact and communicate with upper-level management on a daily basis
Responsibilities
This position will play a key role in process improvement work and have a direct line to the CFO
They will offer a lot of flexibility in terms of work hours too!
Partner with CFO on month/year end close procedures
Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services provided, to determine effects on costs
Analyzes actual production costs and prepares periodic reports on variances
Assist with forecasting and budgeting
Assist with the implementation of accounting procedures for new acquisitions
Maintain fixed asset registers
Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to inventory
Provide support for other accounting functions when needed
