You will be working independently with a high level of responsibility and minimal supervision. Our clients are primarily located in the USA, and you will be required to learn new accounting software.
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong grasp of accounting and financial practices and regulations, as well as excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Comply with all company, local, state, and federal accounting and financial regulations.
Analyze and report financial data, creating periodic reports such as balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
Present data to managers, investors, and other entities, effectively communicating complex quantitative information.
Maintain accurate financial records, perform audits, and resolve discrepancies.
Stay up-to-date on current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
Assist management in decision-making by preparing budgets and financial forecasts.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
Possession of special licenses or certifications may be required (CA, CFA, Inter CA preferred).
Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills, including proficiency in QuickBooks Online or Xero and Microsoft Excel.
Understanding of mathematics and accounting processes, with a focus on ethics and attention to detail.
5-10 years of experience in accounting is preferred, but not necessary.
