Job Description
• Maintain day-to-day books of Accounts and General Ledger Accounting
• Maintain Bank Reconciliation Statements and Reconciliation of all Debtors & Creditors.
• Manage Payment of TDS & Filing of E-TDS Returns Quarterly, Payment & Filing of any other Statutory Payments (PF, Profession Tax etc.)
• Maintain cash transactions & petty cash book day-to-day cash & bank transactions, and online payments (Staff Salary & other expenses)
• Manage vendor accounts, preparation of cheques, online payments
• Handle Debtor's collection & follow-up
• Ensure Finalization of Balance-sheet & P&L Account
• Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs
• Prepare Tax Documents
• Compile and Analyze Financial Statements
• Manage Budgeting and Forecasting
• Comply with financial policies and regulations
Candidate Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. )
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
• Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus advantage
• Soft skills like Emotional Intelligence, Storytelling and Creative Thinking (role play simulation-based training provided as part of placement process)

The Training:
The Workverse is a simulated workplace environment where you learn to apply 21st-century workplace skills. You assume the role of a core team member of an imaginary startup and are at the centre of 100+ workplace scenarios. You pitch to clients, negotiate with vendors, solve problems, draft powerful communication, engage with customers, collaborate with multiple stakeholders and even navigate workplace politics! By the time you’re done, you will be able to tackle any scenario or challenge that comes your way in the real world of work!
