Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Accountant with expertise in Tally software, Goods and Services Tax (GST), and Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) filing to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Financial Data Management:
• Managing financial data and maintaining accurate records in Tally.
• Preparing monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and other financial reports.
• GST Compliance:
• Managing and filing monthly and quarterly GST returns.
• Reconciling GST ledgers and handling GST audits as required.
• TDS Compliance:
• Calculating, preparing, and filing TDS returns as per the statutory requirements.
• Reconciling TDS with the Income Tax department's records and assisting with TDS-related queries and notices.
• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Handling accounts payable and receivable transactions.
• Processing invoices, reconciling vendor statements, and managing payment processing.
• Auditing and Compliance:
• Assisting in internal and external auditing processes.
• Ensuring compliance with accounting policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• General Accounting:
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Supporting the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager with other accounting activities as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to Tally, GST, and TDS filing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Proficiency in Tally and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
