Job Description
We are looking for an Accountant with an experience of 2 - 4 years.
An accountant plays a pivotal role in overseeing the financial health of a company. Their responsibilities typically include
Roles And Responsibilities
Financial Reporting: Preparing financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. They ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Developing, managing, and reviewing budgets for various departments or projects within the company. They forecast financial trends and present reports to senior management.
Monitoring Accounts: They oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing, payments, and collections. Managing the companys cash flow is a significant part of this responsibility.
Audit and Compliance: They coordinate and manage internal and external audits. Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing financial best practices is essential.
Financial Analysis: Analyzing financial data and performance indicators to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement. This involves making recommendations to enhance financial performance.
Team Management: Supervising and leading the accounting team, including assigning tasks, providing guidance, and conducting performance evaluations.
Relationship Management: Interacting with external stakeholders such as vendors, financial institutions, auditors, and tax authorities. They may negotiate contracts and agreements on behalf of the company.
Strategic Planning: Collaborating with the executive team to contribute to the companys strategic planning by offering financial insights and recommendations for growth and risk mitigation.
Technology Integration: Embracing and integrating accounting software and technological advancements to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain accurate financial records.
Good knowledge of Tally and MS Office.
Knowledge of GST Portal and GST returns (GST R1 GST 2B 3B)
TDS knowledge such as TDS sections, TDS percentage, and TDS payment process.
Good knowledge of accounts principles like debit credit contra and ledger headings etc.
Qualifications And Skill.
Minimum qualification of B.Com/CA.
Working with CA firm will be an added advantage.
Good communication, Problem solving and Time management skills
Excellent command on MS Excel
Job Types: Full-time, Regular / Permanent
Salary CTC : 30000 CTC per month (Including PF and other deduction, If applicable)
Working Days and Time:6 Days a week (10:00am 7:00pm) Sunday rotational.
Working Location:Santacruz East, Mumbai
