Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant- Current Zealand to join our growing team. This role is focused exclusively on bookkeeping tasks for New Zealand-based clients , ensuring accurate and up-to-date financial records in line with local standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping duties, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently.
- Record financial transactions and maintain accurate supporting documentation.
- Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting tasks.
- Reconcile intercompany and client accounts.
- Collaborate with the internal team to ensure smooth and timely delivery of bookkeeping services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting support role (preferably with NZ clients).
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, or QuickBooks.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
