Job Description:
We are seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the financial operations of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Handle general ledger operations, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end closing activities.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Process and reconcile bank transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Assist in tax preparation and filing, ensuring compliance with all tax regulations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist in the audit process.
• Support the finance team in various accounting projects and tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or a related role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
