Accountant

Experience: 1-2 years of accountant experience in a Chartered Accountant (CA) firm (Mandatory) Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Job Location: Pune - WFO only Strong knowledge on TDS and GST returns working is a must. Familiarity with accounting software and tools (e.g.,Zoho Books, Microsoft Excel). Key Responsibilities: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledger entries, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. • Assist in the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. • Reconcile bank statements, accounts, and financial discrepancies. • Process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports in a timely and accurate manner. • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts. • Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations. • Provide support during internal and external audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. • Assist in the implementation of accounting software and tools, as needed. • Work closely with the finance team to streamline processes and improve financial efficiency. • Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes. • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve financial discrepancies and ensure accuracy in financial reporting. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 1-2 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a CA firm. • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices and also on TDS and GST returns working is a must. • Familiarity with accounting software and tools (e.g.,Zoho Books, Microsoft Excel). • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry. • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively. • Solid understanding of relevant financial regulations and compliance. • Strong organisational and time management skills. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. • Strong work ethic and a commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality. • Familiarity with taxation and auditing procedures is an advantage. • We believe in recognising and rewarding your efforts and providing a compensation package that reflects your skills and contributions, a collaborative work environment, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
