Overview
We are a private jet operator with complex, fast-moving operations and a high standard for accuracy. Our accounting team plays a critical role in supporting aircraft owners, charter clients, and internal operations. We are seeking a skilled accountant who can grow into a Senior Accountant role depending on experience and expertise.
This is not a basic AP/AR data entry role—this position requires professional-level accounting knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle detailed, multi-entity transactions.
Responsibilities
Owner Statements: Prepare complete, accurate, and detailed monthly aircraft owner statements, tying every line to supporting records.
Trip Accounting: Accurately calculate and record all trip revenue and expenses in QuickBooks Online (QBO), ensuring proper categorization for both owner and charter flights.
Bank & Credit Card Reconciliations: Balance all checking and credit card accounts in detail, tying out every transaction.
AR/AP Oversight: Monitor receivables and payables for accuracy, timing, and proper posting, ensuring full accounting integrity.
Journal Entries: Prepare adjusting and netting journal entries with full understanding of accounting impact.
Transaction Review: Ask the right questions, verify details, and ensure correct treatment for every type of transaction.
Multi-Entity Management: Handle multiple companies, accounts, and workflows concurrently without losing accuracy.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with deep understanding of accounting transactions and their impact to corporate financials.
Proven ability to reconcile complex accounts and prepare clean, supportable journal entries.
Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
High level of accuracy and speed, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
Strong English communication skills—both written and verbal.
Self-starter who can quickly learn company-specific processes without extensive training.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data effectively.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across departments.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
