Wiise is a rapidly growing ERP Software-as-a-service company that helps SMBs in Australia, New Zealand to scale their business by providing modern, all-in-one business management software. Built on a robust Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central platform and backed by KPMG, our software has quickly become a market leader, and we are now looking to expand the Finance and Operations team to support our growth.

Reporting to the CFO, the Accountant is responsible for ensuring that the Finance, RevOps, and operational tasks (as defined below) is delivered accurately, timely, and efficiently. The delivery of these tasks will contribute towards Wiise’s overall business objectives through better decision making internally and strong relationship externally with customers and vendors. You will also grow and develop as a subject matter expert in the Finance and RevOps areas through strong understanding and clear documentation of the platform capabilities, processes, and policies.

Your Opportunity

Prepare revenue / expense journals and support end-of-month close process and reporting.
Perform reconciliation and ensure records are up to date (e.g., bank, debtors, accruals, deferred revenues).
Process accounts payables and receivables (e.g., invoice, reconciliations, follow up overdue accounts).
Assist with other operational tasks relating to finance (e.g., sending reports, organise payouts).
Assist with completing billing runs and the associated tasks (e.g., data checks /uploads, reports, exceptions)
Assist with operational tasks to maintain the billing platform (e.g., setup customer / partners & subscription records, apply credits, allocate payment, update payment methods).
Assist to improve, develop, and establish controls and processes relating to Finance and RevOps areas.
Respond promptly to queries and resolve effectively.
Communicate regularly with internal or external stakeholders via email, messenger, or phone.
Your Experience

2-3 years’ work experience in operational finance / accounting roles.
Intermediate or advanced level of Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., Pivot tables, lookups).
Ability to quickly learn and utilise various systems.
Ability to operate at pace, process data, and maintain accuracy, and deadline driven.
Highly outcome driven and urgency to ensure that tasks / issues are completed and resolved.
Familiarity in systems such as SAP, Concur, Chargebee, or HubSpot is ideal but not essential.
Familiarity in operating in a software environment is ideal but not essential.
Familiarity in operating in a SaaS / subscription billing environment is ideal but not essential.
Qualifications
Business degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
Interest in or working towards a professional qualification (e.g., CPA / CA) is ideal.
