About the Role
Libre Tax Service is a U.S.-based tax and accounting firm expanding operations in Ahmedabad.
We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant / Tax Assistant who wants to learn the U.S. tax and bookkeeping process from professionals with 30+ years of experience.
If you have strong accounting fundamentals and want to upskill in international taxation, QuickBooks, and client bookkeeping, this is your opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the U.S. accounting team with bookkeeping and data entry.
• Maintain client ledgers and organize supporting financial documents.
• Prepare and reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor statements.
• Assist in U.S. tax preparation, 1099s, and year-end reports.
• Perform data entry, P&L summaries, and basic financial analysis.
• Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality in all records.
Qualifications & Skills
• B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA (Finance / Accounting).
• 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (freshers welcome).
• Proficiency in Excel / Tally / QuickBooks Online.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and reconciliations.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn U.S. accounting and tax systems.
• Good English communication (written and spoken).
