• Responsibilities:
• Manage all aspects of the accounting cycle for assigned clients, ensuring timely and accurate financial records.
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, using QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
• Assist with tax preparation for clients, particularly those with Controlled Foreign Corporation (CFC) structures (CTA clients a plus).
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved profitability.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure adherence to all accounting standards and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues regarding financial matters.
• Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (CPA preferred).
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as an accountant.
• Proven experience using QuickBooks Desktop (QBD) and QuickBooks Online (QBO).
• Strong understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Prior experience working with Controlled Foreign Corporation (CFC) clients a strong plus.
