Job Role -Associate Accountant
Job Type: Full-time - Onsite
Location: Ahmedabad
Reporting to : Senior Accountant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 0.5-1 years of overall Outsourcing accounting experience in accounting practices. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the financial success of our clients.
What you will be doing:
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded like Sales, Payment, Credit Memo, Purchase Order etc.
• Keep bank accounts up to date by posting day-to-day transactions & assigning the proper GL
• Maintain all the records & files in a proper manner
• Verifications of all day-to-day transactions of sales, payment, purchase orders etc.
• Record all expenses with proper invoices & maintain those invoices on cloud
• Preparing the Recurring Expense list, reviewing those expenses & keeping track of expenses every month
• Prepare Weekly / Bi-weekly timesheet for payroll
• Post all credit card expenses with proper GL allocation and invoices
• Prepare the Commission reports of Sales Representatives every month & record them
• Match A/R aging & match the customer ledger balances
• Maintain and record fixed assets
• Producing error-free accounting reports and presenting their results
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Support seniors to perform month-end and year-end close process
• Participate in external and internal training as required
• Keep up-to-date with US accounting rules & legislation
What you bring:
• Must have 0.5-1 year of overall Outsourcing Accounting experience
• Excellent math & logical skills
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software
Added Bonus If you have:
• Experience working with QuickBooks
Educational Qualification:
• B.Com, M.Com or M.B.A (In Finance) or any equivalent graduation or post-graduation
