JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Analyze general ledger accounts and individual transactions and provide appropriate feedback.
• Assist with projects as requested.
• Prepare schedules and statements for regulatory filings.
• Prepare management reports which may include analysis of pledging, loan and deposit growth, and OREO.
• Review and validate monthly financial statements (FAP).
• Ensure all actions performed are in compliance with government regulations and organizational policies and procedures.
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES/EXPERIENCE
• Position normally requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or the equivalent.
• Strong accounting knowledge and ability to understand GAAP.
• Basic familiarity with a variety of subjects, such as: finance, economics, English, business law, marketing, statistics, information technology, etc.
• Basic banking knowledge.
• Over six months of experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Prior experience with Excel and Word software.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
SCOPE MEASUREMENTS
• Performance is measured by accuracy and ownership of work, including accurate and cross referenced work papers, identification of improperly posted transactions and timely completion of assigned tasks.
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Normal office conditions.
