Qualifications
We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
Strong bookkeeping skills, including data entry, account reconciliation, and accurate documentation
2+ years of experience with QuickBooks Online and associated apps (e.g., Bill.com, MoneyThumb Slick Connect)
Understanding of CPA requirements for quarterly estimated payments and tax return preparation
Knowledge of partnership accounting, book vs. tax differences, and estate planning mechanisms
Experience with AR/AP for individuals, families, and entities (LLCs, trusts, etc.), including vendor account management
Strong grasp of individual and family finances, including budgeting, bill pay, loan/investment mechanics, and cash flow management
Basic understanding of payroll processes, including tax filings for household employees, entities, and contractors
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Analytical, detail-oriented, organized, and diligent with follow-up
Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working independently
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Mac-based hardware/software
Comfortable using databases and the Internet for research and tasks

This role is integral to our operations, working closely with internal team members, client vendors, and external legal, financial, and tax professionals
Your primary responsibilities will include tracking and analyzing large volumes of financial data, managing AP/AR/Payroll, and reporting on various bank and brokerage accounts and complex financial investments to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual tax-related deadlines
Perform daily tasks such as data entry, record-keeping, and follow-up with clients and third parties

Generate monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc P&L, Balance Sheet, and miscellaneous reports for individuals and entities

Establish new bill pay accounts, set up auto payments, and monitor activity to prevent errors
Reconcile bank accounts, retrieve statements, and maintain filing integrity
Update and track changes to client net worth statements using reporting software
Analyze large datasets, verify accuracy, correct discrepancies, and eliminate duplications
Assist in client meeting preparation and follow-up by issuing reports and completing relevant tasks
Perform complex cash flow and financial planning analyses
Coordinate with vendors, bank representatives, accountants, and other third parties
Manage payroll for clients’ household employees, entity employees, and independent contractors
Prepare and distribute tax forms such as 10++, 10+8, and 10+6
Complete special projects as requested

Position Overview

Are you an Accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment? We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our team. This role is integral to our operations, working closely with internal team members, client vendors, and external legal, financial, and tax professionals.
