Cooper Farms is currently seeking an Accounting Analyst II to join our Corporate team in Fort Recovery.
The primary goal of this position is the timely and accurate completion of accounting functions, reports, and records as directed by supervision.
SHIFT HOURS: Monday through Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
STARTING SALARY: From $52,000/yr
PERKS: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)
Job Functions:
• Assists with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidations and distributes summary reporting
• Responsible for corporate level accounting transactions
• Assists with profit and loss projections and cash position reporting
• Coordinate fixed asset software system
• Prepares management summary reports
• Assists with administering corporate document compliance program
• Assists in coordination of risk management processes
Requirements
• Must have Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or 3 years work experience in a related field
• Analytical mind
• Must be a self starter who can work independently at times
• Good organizational skills
• Proficient in problem solving and solution identification
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Familiarity with mainframe general ledger accounting systems and associated modules
