Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant to join our finance team.
This entry-level position is suitable for finance freshers who possess knowledge of accounting such as Tally, TDS, PF, and other accounting software.
The Finance Assistant will support various financial tasks, including bookkeeping, data entry, payroll processing, and assisting with tax compliance.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in finance and accounting while working closely with experienced professionals.
Responsibilities:
• Assist in daily financial activities, including data entry, accounts payable and receivable, and maintaining financial records.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.
• Assist in payroll processing, including calculating employee salaries, deductions, and taxes.
• Collaborate with the HR department to manage employee provident fund (PF) accounts and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assist in TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) compliance, including calculating and depositing TDS amounts, preparing TDS returns, and filing them in a timely manner.
• Support the finance team in conducting financial analysis, identifying trends, and providing insights to aid decisionmaking.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, financial policies, and procedures.
• Stay updated on relevant tax laws, accounting standards, and regulatory changes.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.
• Understanding of TDS regulations, PF rules, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and develop skills in finance and accounting.
