Job Description
The accounting and finance manager will be responsible for daily bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivables, payroll, assistance with end-of-month close, grant reporting, audit preparation, and other related duties as assigned. The associate will work closely with and report to the accounting and finance director.
Salary: up to 45000/-
Responsibilities
1. Look into all legal cases and get them to follow up with the company legal team.
2. Look into statutory regulation/ corporate policies and amend them in discussion with management.
3. Discuss with the bank and get timely approval for a loan Capex plan.
4. Help in preparing periodic budgets and projections.
5. Develop and manage annual and multi-year budgets that are adequate for the organization’s needs including preparation of periodic budget forecasts.
6. Prepare and maintain cash flow analyses as needed.
7. Analyse monthly financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, and statement of cash flows) and effectively convey analysis to staff as requested.
8. Assist in preparing year-end books for audit.
+. Ensure operational compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations for any necessary entities
10. Process vendor payments and check requests
11. Process employee reimbursements including managing employee credit card charges and reconciling credit card accounts
12. Reconcile bank accounts and general ledger accounts as assigned
13. Respond to inquiries from staff regarding budgets, deposits, disbursement, and grant reporting requests.
14. Assist in reconciling all balance sheet and income statement accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis as indicated by the monthly closing schedule.
15. Process payroll and report payroll taxes for the organization
16. Perform essential office management duties as requested
17. Prepare and submit all reports and data to Banks per their requirements.
18. Preparation of Board papers, MIS, and management accounting.

21. Assisting G.M.-Finance/CFO for finalization of Annual & Quarterly P&L Accounts and Balance Sheet as per required schedule.
22. Assisting G.M. Finance/CFO in preparing and compiling annual revenue and capital budgets based on data provided by the various departments in the organization.
Qualifications
· Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
· More than Seven years of experience
· Exposure to financial accounting requirements, knowledge of local Tax Laws, and extensive experience in the consolidation of accounts.
· Analytical bent of mind through sheer analytics can add value to the business performance.
· Existing relationships with Banks and Financial Institutions.
· Experience in managing public or non-profit funds
· Outstanding client service, communication, and organizational skills
· Ability to work collaboratively internally and with other charter schools
