Job Description
This role requires a high level of expertise in Financial Accounting, Private Equity / Real Estate / Hedge Funds, and a strong ability to analyze complex data and provide recommendations.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment, and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
A very good understanding of Financial Accounting, General understanding of Capital Markets, General understanding of Banking, and General understanding of Private Equity / Real Estate / Hedge Funds is required.
Hands-on experience of Private Equity / Real Estate / Hedge Funds systems and reasonable understanding of Private Equity / Real Estate / Hedge Funds processes such as Accounting, Investor Reporting, Capital Calls, Distribution, Financial Statements etc. are essential.
The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to delivering exceptional results and providing an outstanding customer experience.
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing effective technical support to the process and actively resolving client issues directly or through timely escalation to meet process SLAs.
• Working on Private Equity / Real Estate / Hedge Fund Operations such as Fund / Financial Accounting, Book Keeping, Journal Posting, Preparation of Financial Statements.
• Managing Fee Carried Interest and Expense Calculation & Posting, Capital Calls - Preparation of Capital Call memos, LC Opening, Follow Up with LPs for funding, Distribution - Preparation of Distribution working, LP Memo Preparation, Fund Transfer Wire preparation, Repayment of LCs.
• Reconciling cash and tracking capital transactions.
• Valuing portfolio investments.
• Preparing and submitting Fund and Investor Reports accurately as per SLA.
