Accounting and Reporting Specialist - General Accounting

You will be working as Accounting and Reporting Specialist - General Accounting, reporting to Accounting and Reporting Manager for Finance Operational Service division based in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible to support accounting and reporting matters to business/reporting units through resolution of accounting and reporting questions, financial statement reviews and preparation, as well as follow-up on accounting issues.
Your responsibilities
Performing general accounting activities and recording financial transactions
Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies
Preparing reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations and statements of sourcing to assist in financial decision making
Accounting and reporting support for local GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) of respective countries including support required for tax assessment data compilation
Performing month end book closing activities
Your background
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
Minimum 0 to 3 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation and processing of journal entries
Experience in Record to Report (R2R) will be an added advantage
Candidate should be flexible with shift timings
Working knowledge in MS office
