Are you a seasoned Accounting Assistant who is passionate about numbers and has a keen eye for detail? We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team in the manufacturing industry. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your mathematical prowess and financial acumen to drive our business forward. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, accounts payable, ten key, invoicing, inventory, purchasing, and file management.
Responsibilities
As a Consulting Accounting Assistant, your primary role will be to support our financial department in ensuring smooth and efficient business operations. Your duties will include
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and statements, ensuring their accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
• Performing bookkeeping tasks such as recording revenues, expenses, and cash flow.
• Managing accounts payable, ensuring that all invoices are processed and paid in a timely manner.
• Reconciling accounts regularly to prevent discrepancies and errors.
• Utilizing ten-key skills to input and manage financial data accurately.
• Managing inventory records and coordinating with the purchasing department to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Handling invoicing procedures, ensuring that all invoices are issued correctly and paid on time.
• Assisting with purchasing activities, including order placement, tracking, and verification.
• Managing and organizing financial files and documents, ensuring their security and accessibility.
• Collaborating with other team members to improve financial processes and systems.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Demonstrated proficiency in bookkeeping, account reconciliation, accounts payable, ten key, mathematics, invoicing, inventory, purchasing, and file management.
• A strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
• Excellent mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using financial software and databases.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
