Role Description :
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accounting Associate at Troovy in Gurugram. The Associate will be responsible for accounting, report preparation, AP / AR management, and compliance management.
Responsibilities :
• Day-to-day bookkeeping -posting of entries would include sales, purchases, vendor payments, and banking operations.
• Support preparing, examining, and analyzing accounting records, including periodic MIS reports.
• Assist in managing accounting tasks such as Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Revenue Recognition.
• Help with month-end and year-end closure processes.
• Liaise with external vendors / consultants (GST, IT, and Labour Law consultants) for documentation and compliance.
• Reconciliation of payments with multiple payment providers.
• Ensure monthly revenue and cost accruals are accurate, with oversight from the Finance Head.
• Support the compliance of local, state, and central government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Assist with third parties' financial and regulatory diligence / audits.
• Provide day-to-day support for finance functions and the operations team's needs.
• Ensure proper documentation for financial transactions and compliance with control expectations.
Qualifications :
• B.Com graduate with at least three years of experience.
• Experience in Finance and Accounts, Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and GL reconciliations
• Experience working with FP&A and MIS reporting is a plus.
• Experience in FMCG is a plus
• Knowledge of Tally and PowerBI
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach.
• Knowledge of Indian accounting standards and financial reporting.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to various roles within the finance team.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to coordinate with stakeholders for issue resolution.
• Positive attitude, a team player, and an eagerness to take on new responsibilities.
