Fishers Event Center has an excellent and immediate opening for a Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk will perform entry-level accounting work with a focus on our Food and Beverage purchasing. This position will be assisting in general accounting and bookkeeping functions.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Associate’sDegree in Accounting or related field.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in accounting or finance role.
Responsibilities
• Reviews, classifies, and enters accounts payable invoices.
• Verify accounts payable checks before distribution.
• Sign off on accounts receivable invoices before distribution.
• Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements.
• Assists Accounting Manager in preparation of monthly financial statements.
• Prepare monthly accounts receivable aging.
• Perform bank reconciliation and account analysis.
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules.
• Serve as backup for other duties in finance department.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
