Idaho Timber Idaho Timber Meridian, ID Meridian, ID Full-time Full-time $22 - $25 an hour $22 - $25 an hour 13 days ago 13 days ago 13 days ago Idaho Timber is seeking an Accounting Clerk at its Corporate Office located at The Village at Meridian in Idaho.
The position will support Idaho Timber's operational divisions located throughout the United States.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for performing activities in the accounts payable/receivable function.
Ensure timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintain accurate records and control reports.
Manage and perform cash application making sure all cash receipts are applied properly.
Review vendor invoices for correct g/l coding before being posted to general ledger.
Perform monthly and quarterly reconciliations.
Maintain an orderly financial filing system.
QUALIFICATIONS Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Experience with JD Edwards OneWorld preferred.
Efficient and accurate data entry skills.
Ability to clearly and concisely communicate with employees in different roles and with varying skill-sets.
Excellent planning and organizational skills, attention to detail and accuracy are extremely important.
Ability to operate desktop computer, including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and specialized software applications in a network environment.
Demonstrated teamwork and problem solving skills.
The successful applicant will be required to pass a credit and criminal background check.
