We are in search of a meticulous Accounting Clerk to be a part of our team. The role is based in Wayzata, Minnesota, 553+1, United States, and involves significant responsibilities within the accounting sector. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of accounting duties, including processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries.
Responsibilities
• Accurately process customer credit applications, ensuring efficiency in all procedures
• Maintain customer credit records with utmost accuracy, updating them as necessary
• Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Monitor customer accounts diligently and take appropriate action when required
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and ensure all vendor invoices are entered correctly
• Manage relationships with multiple vendors, maintaining clear and open communication
• Perform account reconciliation duties, ensuring all financial records are in order
• Execute check runs and manage cash effectively
• Prepare and enter journal entries as required
• Utilize Microsoft Excel and JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for data entry and invoice processing.
Requirements
• Possess skills in account reconciliation to ensure accurate financial records
• Experience with accounts payable (AP) to manage company expenses
• Proficient in data entry, ensuring accurate and efficient record keeping
• Experience with invoice processing to ensure timely and accurate payments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting
• Familiarity with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for effective financial management
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts
• Experience in entering vendor invoices to ensure accurate record keeping
• Ability to manage multiple vendors simultaneously
• Experience with check runs to manage company payments
• Proficiency in journal entries for accurate financial record keeping.
