We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing all accounting activities in accordance with defined standard operating procedures (SOPs). This includes executing intercompany transactions, closing books of accounts, and undertaking assessment cycles for flawless movement from the Financial Institutions (FI) to Purchase Accounting (PA) module at month-end.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and have experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, preferably SAP. Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of Microsoft Office are also essential.
About the Role:
• Key Responsibilities: Perform all accounting activities as per SOPs, execute intercompany transactions, close books of accounts, undertake assessment cycles for FI to PA module at month-end.
• Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all accounting is in compliance with US GAAP.
• Review and Resolution: Review and timely resolution of all audit queries.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.
