We're a profitable and fast-growing technology startup supported by leading international institutional and angel investors. After a successful first 12 months in business, we are looking to streamline our global Accounting and Finance operations.
Job Scope:
• Develop, scale, and maintain our entire FP&A function, with the opportunity to eventually lead it: creating accurate and timely company records, catering to financial requests of debt and equity investors.
• Perform accounting tasks such as maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements and forecasts, and reconciling accounts across multiple entities in multiple geographies (UK, USA, UAE etc).
• Finance operations, e.g. managing payroll, expenses and bank transactions.
• Catering to financial requests of external stakeholders such as debt and equity providers from time to time.
• Handle general administrative tasks related to finance, legal and operations.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance, or a related field.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA (Association of Chartered Accountants), ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants), or equivalent.
• 3-6 years of relevant work experience in accounting, finance, or a similar role.
• Familiarity with global accounting standards and practices, particularly for legal entities in the UK, optionally the US, and UAE, is an advantage.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
• Experience in managing payroll processes and familiarity with payroll software
