Main Responsibilities:
Reviews, prepares, reconciles, and analyzes accounting records and financial reports to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal policies, agency rules, and regulations.
Monitors, reviews, and verifies accounting records and transactions for adequacy of supporting documentation.
Ensures the organization's accounting practices align with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Collaborates in the development of accounting applications, reports, forms, records, and documented procedures.
Assists in creating financial projections and forecasts.
