Job Description
One of our best clients in Berks County has a higher-level accounting and finance contract role that is budgeted to last for at least 6 months. We are looking for someone with strong accounting skills, but the first task is going to be some FP&A work that the CFO and the team do not have time for. For the FP&A work we are looking for someone with strong financial analysis skills and experience with budgeting, forecasting, researching variances, and creating and monitoring KPI's. The reports around these areas would be for the CEO and people at the Private Equity partner investment company.
This would be a long-term contract position that could last 6 months or longer, but we understand that candidates may be looking for full-time employment along the way and may need to leave for a better full-time offer after a few weeks or a few months. It would be a 50% hybrid after the first 2 weeks. So, first two weeks in the office 4 or 5 days a week then after those 2 or 3 days in office and 2 or 3 days remote per week.
Some of the other work that will exist at some point with this opening:
• Accounting work with month end close related duties
• PE Backed company experience a plus
• Advanced Excel skills being able to pull data, do pivot tables, V-LookUps etc.
• Ability to run reports out of ERP system. Someone Tech Savvy is needed.
• Percentage of Completion (POC ) accounting a major plus.
• FPA experience doing variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Ability to assist with financial close when necessary.
• Work independently
The hourly pay rate for this role will be $50 to $60 an hour based on experience, background, and how the interview process progresses. This company has grown a lot since the PE company got involved over the last few years so it could be a situation where once you get your foot in the door there might be more opportunities.
