Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting professional to join our team as a Manager, Accounting - Capital Services. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading the accurate and timely accounting and reporting of all projects, grants, and assets through their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the monthly closing and year-end accrual processes to ensure proper period reporting.
Evaluate processes and systems to identify risk, inefficiency, and improvement opportunities.
DIRECT THE WORK OF ASSIGNED STAFF, EVALUATE PERFORMANCE AND ESTABLISH DEVELOPMENT PLANS.
Provide financial system and accounting guidance on emerging issues.
Act as module lead for PeopleSoft Project Costing and Asset Management modules.
Requirements:
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
Five years of experience in accounting operations and systems, including project costing and asset management.
Two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business administration.
