Job Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in the Burlington, Vermont area, in the manufacturing industry. We are in search of an Accounting Manager to oversee and manage our accounting functions. This role involves maintaining and processing accounting systems, managing raw materials, and handling overhead absorbent.
Responsibilities
• Administer and manage all accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Oversee the processing and management of manufacturing cost accounting
• Handle the management and tracking of raw materials used in the manufacturing process
• Monitor and manage product production and costs
Requirements
• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems
• Experience in Manufacturing Cost Accounting
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Familiarity with financial regulations and legislation
• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
