Job Title: Accounting Manager
Job Location: Denver, CO (Downtown)
Job Salary: $110,000 - $130,000
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Leadership experience
• Expert level GAAP knowledge
We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager for our technology-based supply chain start-up. We have experienced significant growth since our launch in 2018, building a company of passionate and high-performing teams. What You Will Be Doing
The Accounting Manager will lead a team of 3-7 staff accountants. As an Accounting Manager, you will support financial reporting and communication to senior management. The Accounting Manager will also ensure that all GAAP requirements are met, work with external auditors and resolve any data discrepancies. In this role, you will also review journal entries and audit processes. You will be involved in the day-to-day operations of the accounting department and will have the opportunity to be a leader in the organization, including mentoring, training, delegating and directing work for your team.
The ideal candidate will able to adjust to competing priorities and handle multiple responsibilities in a shifting environment. The candidate should have a strong sense of teamwork and desire to get the job done, demonstrating an enthusiasm for collaboration and success.
What You Need for this Position
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Experience with either: Public Accounting firm, reporting requirements for public companies, or audit
• Expert level GAAP knowledge
Bonus Skills:
• CPA preferred
• Experience in SaaS, Technology or High-Growth Start-Up environments is desired
• Experience with NetSuite
