This role involves overseeing financial reporting, maintaining accounting records, and preparing financial statements. Reporting directly to the CFO, responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory laws, managing internal controls, and coordinating audits.
Key duties include analyzing financial results, preparing budgets, and identifying process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, compliance, and financial analysis.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting with a focus in the manufacturing, distribution and/or service industries.
• Extensive experience in multi-state sales and use tax filings/reporting.
• Experience in implementing and designing internal controls and procedures, as well as ERP systems
• Hands-on knowledge of job costing and manufacturing is strongly preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP required.
