Job Description
As a Accounting Manager, candidate is required to have excellent knowledge and understanding of accounting practices. Candidate will be responsible for preparing the final accounts of the company and ensuring correct accounting practices are being followed. Candidate will be responsible for ensuring tax compliance and will be required to have in depth knowledge of GST and Income tax.
The candidate will be required to manage junior accounts and take responsibility of all accounting and taxation activities in the company. The candidate will be placed in the company head office in BKC, Mumbai.
Candidate should be well versed with tally ERP software and ensure the ERP is followed accurately at all the company locations.
Responsibilities:
• maintain accounting records and prepare accounts
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
• detect and prevent fraud (forensic accounting)
• liaise with internal and external auditors (where applicable) and deal with any financial irregularities as they arise
• produce reports and recommendations following internal audits
• prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts
• arrange financial management reports, including financial planning and forecasting
• advise on tax issues
• monitor and ensure compliance of GST, income tax or any other taxes.
Requirements -
Inter CA (preferred)
Graduate in Accounting/BBA or any other accounting background degree
Extensive knowledge on Tally ERP.
Min. Experience - 15/20 years.
Salary Budget – 6L – 7.5L CTC per annum
