Responsibilities
The temporary associate will learn and assist with the day-to-day duties of the Specialty Accounting members
Actively support the completion of period-end closing activities and quarterly/yearly reporting related to areas within the Specialty Accounting group
Maintain accurate and detailed accounting records for assigned accounting areas
Compile, analyze, and reconcile assigned balance sheet general ledger accounts
This process includes taking appropriate action to research and clear items on a timely basis
Post general ledger journal entries on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Provide support for other accounting areas or other departments by assisting with problem resolution and research related to assigned responsibilities
Ensure accounting records and schedules are maintained in compliance with accounting standards and internal policies and procedures
Assist in special accounting projects and/or ad-hoc requests as assigned by supervisor
Conduct all activities in a professional manner that reflects the organization's culture and ethics

Summary :
