Accounting & Reporting Specialist - General Accounting

You will be working as Accounting and Reporting Specialist - General Accounting, reporting to Accounting and Reporting Manager for Finance and Accounting Operations based in Bangalore, India. You will be responsible to provide accounting, reporting and consolidation expertise. Supports accounting and reporting matters to business/reporting units through resolution of accounting and reporting questions, financial statement reviews and preparation, as well as follow-up on accounting issues.
Your responsibilities
Performing general accounting activities and recording financial transactions
Conducting investigations and reconciliations of accounts as necessary for any discrepancies and executing accounting analyses and reporting in support of finance and business leaders
Preparing reports, statement of accounts, reconciliations, statements of sourcing and processing entire Fixed asset related Daily Transactions (Acquisitions, Retirements, Transfers)
Performing Monthly Quarterly Fixed Assets Activities (CWIP Aging Analysis/ Capex Movements Preparation.)
Overseeing the closing of monthly accounts of CAPEX, manage the CAPEX control and approval process
Ensuring proper accounting procedure over fixed asset acquisition, transfer, impairment, write-off, and disposal
Ensuring all monthly closing tasks are completed and FA module are closed on time as per schedule
Reviewing and reconcile monthly fixed asset movement report on regular intervals and handling the entire fixed asset reporting and internal and external audit activities
Your background
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (MBA/ Mcom) is must
Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience on SAP
Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask
Strong written and verbal communication skills
SAP knowledge is advantage
