The Accounting Specialist will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including but not limited to, vendor payment management and customer billings. The Accounting Specialist will assist with various projects to ensure the accuracy of company financial information.
Responsibilities
• Manage all vendor payments including online, checks, ACH, etc.
• Process customer billings
• Customer account reconciliations
• Assist with audit preparations and provide support to auditors as needed
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards
• Maintain documentation and records for audit purposes
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data
• Collaborate with team members to provide necessary financial reports as needed
Qualifications
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Teams, and general computer skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Associates degree or Certified Bookkeeper certification preferred but not required
