Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure the following accounting activities are conducted timely, accurately, & to Dow’s standard and to US GAAP/Ind AS:
• Day to day accounting
• Monthly/quarterly/annual closing activities
• Monthly/Quarterly balance sheet reconciliation in Black Line application
• Quarterly flux analysis (comparing current period trial balance with prior period and provide explanation for significant fluctuations)
• Support in preparation of financial statements as per Local GAAP including statutory audit schedules.
• Support in special projects such as mergers / demergers etc.
• Support internal audits, tax, transfer pricing audits
• Identify opportunities for process improvements / automations to achieve productivity gains
Education:
• Bachelor of Comme
• Chartered Accountant or CPA (preferred)
Experience:
• Financial Accounting following USGAAP/IFRS/Ind AS (5-6 years)
• Western multinational or Big 4 experience (5-6 years)
Competencies:
• Highly proficient financial accountant following Ind AS, IFRS and US GAAP
• Results driven.
• Process-oriented mindset.
• Detailed and analytical thinker.
• Proficient in SAP finance - financial accounting module – (ECC – FICO)
• Good communication skills.
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
