Job Title: Accounting Supervisor
Location: Downtown Indianapolis

Key Responsibilities
• Manage project budgets and forecasts in collaboration with project managers and stakeholders.
• Monitor project costs, expenses, and revenue recognition to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Review and approve project-related transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, and change orders.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including job cost reports, variance analysis, and profitability analysis.
• Coordinate with project teams to address financial issues, provide guidance on cost control measures, and support decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
• Collaborate with the finance team to facilitate accurate and timely month-end and year-end close processes.
• Lead and mentor a team of project accountants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Continuously improve processes and systems to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness of project accounting operations.
• Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and resolving any audit findings.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• CPA or CMA certification preferred
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting required
• Public accounting experience
• Strong understanding of project management principles and construction accounting practices.
Compensation
+0k-100k base salary, depending on experience
5%-10% annual bonus depending on individual and company performance
