The Role

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our Finance Team on a fixed term basis until the end of April 2027.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for accurately maintaining financial records and supporting our day-to-day accounting operations. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, you’ll ensure the integrity of our accounting data while providing timely, professional support to internal and external stakeholders.

You’ll work across accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, and general finance administration.

Key Accountabilities

Daily Administration & Support

Manage accounts inbox and answer finance queries efficiently
Reconcile Xero transactions which include shopify transactions, AMZ, Upwork, etc
Identify and investigate discrepancies
Maintain up-to-date financial records and ensure completeness of supporting documents
Support daily accounting and finance admin tasks as needed
Support internal control and process improvement initiatives
Accounts receivable and accounts payable

Record accounts receivable and accounts payable accurately
Liaise with relevant parties to ensure accounts receivable are paid on time
Liaise with suppliers and the management accountant to ensure timely invoice and payment processing
Coordinate with other departments to ensure receipts are provided for purchases using company cards
Month-end support

Assist with expense allocations, shipment cost entries and month-end close tasks
Support preparation of management reports and finance workpapers as needed
Reporting and Legal compliance

Assist in preparing tax returns for Shakti entities
Assist in GST Audit
Assist with ad hoc finance projects / reports
Who You Are

2+ years’ experience in a similar Accounts Assistant or Administrator role
Proficiency in Xero
Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Business (desirable but not essential)
High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment
