Job type: Full Time/Permanent
Hours: 38 hours per week
We are currently looking for an Accounts and Audit Senior to work within our expanding Accounts and Audit Department.
Person Specification:
You will be ACCA or ACA qualified, with minimum five years’ proven practice experience and be IT proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, Sage, Xero and Quickbooks. Experience of using CCH is preferable.
You will be experienced in the preparation and review of financial statements for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies and will have knowledge of tax compliance issues. Our ideal candidate will have proven experience of Audit work, preparation of cashflow forecasts, business plans. Experience in the preparation of management accounts would also be an advantage.
In addition:
You’ll be a team player with a passion for your profession and excellent interpersonal, planning and organisational skills. Likewise, the ability to impress and work well with our clients is key.
You should possess a good commercial mindset and ensure that you maximise the opportunity to sell the firm’s full range of services.
Full clean driving licence is preferred but not essential.
Duties will include:
Preparing management accounts and year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
Liaising with clients to resolve queries
Ensuring all assignments are completed within the allocated budget
Working with the client to ensure deadlines are met
Drafting Corporation Tax computations and liaising with our tax department
