Accounts Assistant

Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with 0–2 years of accounting experience who are looking to grow their career in the trading and commodities sector. Key Responsibilities: Assist with daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and payment vouchers Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in compliance with company policies Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes Reconcile inventory and cost of goods sold (COGS) data with trading and logistics departments Assist with preparing financial reports and supporting documents for audits Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth financial operations Perform other general administrative and accounting duties as assigned Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software Excellent organizational and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Preferred Skills: Internship or experience in a trading, logistics, or manufacturing environment is a plus Familiarity with inventory accounting or cost accounting Knowledge of local tax regulations and compliance (GST/VAT etc.) Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
