Job Description
We are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll & Accounts Assistant to join our small practice based in Worcester.
The main part of the job will include the preparation and filing of the following for numerous clients:
Quarterly VAT returns
Weekly & Monthly Payroll
Uploads to Pension Providers (e.g. NEST)
CIS returns
Other duties include:
Asking clients for their records
Dealing with ad-hoc enquiries from clients
Answering telephone as required
General office duties as required
The ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in an accountancy practice, and be able to work under some pressure to meet the tight deadlines involved with the job.
Also required:
The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word
Knowledge of accounting systems such as Sage/ Xero/ VT and Moneysoft payroll manager would be useful
Ability to work on own initiative is a must
This role will be fully office based but we are flexible regarding working days and hours.
