Job Description
We are seeking an Accounts Assistant to join our team in Kewdale, Western Australia on a part-time or full-time basis. You will need to be able to work effectively in a busy environment, by multi-tasking and managing competing deadlines. You will need to be a motivated team player who can add to a great company culture and office environment with high standards and a great attention to detail.
The Role:
You will be responsible for a range of accounts payable, accounts receivable and administration tasks as well as general accounting functions including reconciliations month end activities.
Data entry
Accurately processing and coding of transactions
Allocation of invoices for approval and follow up
Ensuring customer and supplier queries are followed up and answered in a timely manner
Monthly reconciliation of all creditor/debtor accounts
Completion of month end processing
Processing supplier and customer credit applications and ensuring appropriate business checks and approvals are completed
Regular reporting
Attending regular finance meetings
Working closely with the Finance Team to ensure seamless operations
Other administrative and finance tasks as required including reception cover when required
About you:
Administrative data processing experience with accounts payable preferred but not essential
Accurate and efficient data entry skills
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
Confident communication and customer service skills
Adaptable to change
Ability to work in a team as well as autonomously
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Time management skills
SAP B1 or similar ERP experience preferred but not essential.
A systematic work approach consistently performed in line with company procedures and team expectations
The ability to work efficiently under pressure and in an environment where priorities may change
