Job Summary
We are looking for an Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Accountant responsibilities include auditing financial documents and procedures, employee payments, reconciling bank statements and calculating tax payments and returns. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience with bookkeeping in tally and a flair for spotting numerical mistakes, knowledge of national and regional laws on and taxes. Ultimately, you will provide us with accurate quantitative information on financial position, liquidity and cash flows of our business, while ensuring we’re compliant with all tax regulations. If you meet these criteria and you have a degree in Finance or similar field, we’d like to hear from you.
Responsibilities and Duties
Inventory Data entry
Update general ledger
Prepare accounting files, records, and schedules
Participate in payroll audits
Ensure compliance with governmental laws on accounting and taxes
Manage all accounting transactions
Bank statement reconciliation
Prepare budget forecasts
Publish financial statements in time
Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
Ensure timely bank payments
Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
Audit financial transactions and documents
Key Skills
Microsoft Excel, Tally
Required Experience and Qualifications
Work experience as an Accountant
Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
Previous experience as a accountant or in a similar roles
Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
Great computational ability
Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
Hands-on experience with accounting software like Tally
Experience with general ledger functions
