Job Description
The Accounts Head oversees all accounting functions and ensures legal compliance for a private limited company, including managing financial records, preparing reports, and handling Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs).
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting and Financial Management:
Oversee daily accounting operations.
Ensure timely financial closings.
Prepare financial statements.
Manage general ledger and other accounting functions.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and present financial reports.
Analyze data for business decisions.
Ensure compliance with reporting regulations.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop and manage budgets.
Monitor performance and implement cost control measures.
Compliance and Audit:
Ensure compliance with tax, GST, SEBI, MCA, and other laws.
Liaise with auditors.
Maintain internal controls.
NCD Management:
Oversee accounting and compliance for NCDs.
Prepare regulatory reports.
Liaise with stakeholders.
SEBI Compliance: Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations for listed NCDs, including timely disclosures, filing returns, and adherence to listing agreements.
Legal Compliance:
Ensure corporate law compliance.
Maintain statutory books.
File statutory returns.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor the accounting team.
Promote continuous improvement and professional development.
Qualifications:
Chartered Accountant (CA).
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting and financial management.
Knowledge of accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory regulations.
Experience with NCDs preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.

Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
